I've finally finished designing the other two starters to go alongside Kittany- Lamber and Aquaint! It was really fun trying to design a Fire-type starter based on one of the few Chinese Zodiac left. I'm also fairly sure my initial sketches of Aquaint from about 2017 were trying to make a literal "sea monkey" (it became more feline/canine as time went on, but still), but this was very pleasant to revisit them!
With luck, I can design a whole region's worth of fakemon, but I think this is a good start! Maybe sometime, I'll make proper Pokedex entries for these babies.
Name Origins:
Kittany - Kitten + Botany, also alludes to kitty, teeny, and tan
Lamber - Lamb + Ember, also alludes to amber, limber, and lamber ("to lick" in Spanish)
Aquaint - Aqua + Quaint, also alludes to acquaint and "a quaint" creature

오랜만에 울 첫째가 DeviantArt에 포스팅을 올렸어요. 오늘 그린 그림은 Fakemon(페이크몬, 팬메이드 포켓몬)이예요. 첫째가 직접 디자인한 포켓몬인 셈이죠. 위의 3 페이크몬은 Kittany(키타니), Lamber(램버), Aquaint(어퀘인트)입니다. 이중 키타니는 지난 포스팅에 이미 소개한 적이 있어요.
첫째가 설명하는 3 페이크몬 이름의 기원과 타입은 이렇습니다.
Kittany(키타니) - Kitten(아기 고양이) + Botany(식물학). Grass type.
Lamber(램버) - Lamb(어린 양) + Ember(엠버). Fire type.
Aquaint(어퀘인트) - Aqua(아쿠아, 물) + Quanit(퀘인트, 독특하게 멋진). Water type.
각 페이크몬의 이름에 대해서는 첫째가 위에서 더 자세히 설명해 두었어요.
