Without the Light, the Decay crept into Niwen.

And She, its harbinger, brought silence into these woods.

Some were lucky, escaping with their lives.

Others were not, and now they rest among the ashes, turned to stone.

I played Ori and the Will of the Wisps as soon as it came out, and it was certainly a ride. I mean, yeah, I wholeheartedly believe the story could have used a lot more work put into it, but hey. It got me to cry sometimes. At least, the ending felt like a slap to the face. Probably counts as "emotional."

But another moment that haunted me was part of the "Family Reunion" sidequest. Technically, these unfortunate Moki can't have been the ones in the quest, but it comes out the same; a parent and child, while waiting for their loved one to return with news of a safe place to call home, fell to the Decay and were petrified.

And all the mother here wanted to do was protect her child from the threat...

오늘의 그림 주제도 첫째가 아끼는 게임 "Ori and the Will of the Wisps (오리와 도깨비불)"입니다.
